The baal Shem tov was born in 1700

He was a mystical Jewish teacher. He was orphaned when he was very young and escaped to the Carpathian mountains where he lived by himself in the wilderness. He eventually got a job escorting the children of the town to School. He was a Bus Driver before there were bus drivers.   

He used to dress in plain clothes and rags. He would wander from town to town, pursuing tikkun. He talked to angels and demons, birds and dogs and the moshiach. He defeated werewolves and evil sorcerers. 

He marched to the beat of his own drummer.

He sang niggunim to elevate the spirit.
