There are three different types of spadefoot toads:
1) The Couches Spadefoot Toad:
Lives in the United States southwest of southeastern Colorado and central Oklahoma, northern Mexico and the Baja peninsula. They can be found throughout the Sonoran Desert, which includes parts of southern Arizona and California.
2) The Eurpean Spadefoot Toad

live in different locations across North America
